What’s my practice’s New Year’s resolution? Biggest thing right now for me is a restructure of my business. For a long time, I looked at myself as wearing three hats – educator, general dentist, and specialty dentist in the areas of cosmetics and occlusal reconstruction. This year, I want to get another dentist in my practice to help with the GD side, so I can take care of myself better and spend more time with my family. I’ve been in practice for 20 years now. My advice would be for dentists to take a close look at their time and where they are most productive. And don’t confuse productivity with activity.
