Medical News Today released information provided by the Swedish Research Council that tells us Nobel Direct dental implants, thought to be an amazing invention when they were released in 2004, now have loss rate of 8% in one study. The research states that in 48 patients, the implants, which are screwed directly into the jawbone and require no soft tissue surgery, were lost in 5% of  cases and in 20%, the implants "showed bone loss of more than three millimeters."
