Diode Laser Wavelength 810nm to 830nm
There are various manufacturers producing Diode lasers, delivering wavelengths in the range of 810nm to 830nm. These devices are compact and portable in design and very reliable based on their solid-state components. The Diode lasers are used for soft tissue procedures only and the wavelength is well absorbed by pigmented structures providing for good hemostasis and effective cutting of tissue. Working with a carbonized tip optical fiber, cutting is clean and efficient with good coagulation and minor char. Depth of penetration ranges from 2-3mm into tissue depending on wavelength.
