Time Saving Tips from Dr. Cranham

At Dr. Cranham’s Office in Virginia: Our staff members wear wireless communicators with earpieces so they can talk to one another behind the scenes. Hygiene can tell the front desk when they’re ready for the next appointment. I can tell an assistant that I need something in the operatory. It helps things run smoothly and keeps the flow constant from the front to the back office. We also decided to save some time by training one team member as a lab assistant. Now that person can so she can mount my cases and make splints, waxups, and bleaching trays. This saves time and expense, and it allows us to serve our patients more efficiently.
