Today consumers looking for anything form a car to a new smile are highly educated. The baby boomers, who are the main clientele for cosmetic dentistry, use computers every day. In my opinion, it is not even possible to do the kind of dentistry we like to do without having a really good website working for you. You can market the site yourself or use search engine optimization to prompt traffic. In my practice, most of my patients use the site to find information. Before a person chooses a dental practice, they want to find about the dentist, the philosophy, and get a feel for the place before they make that first call. You need up-to-date information about your team, the dentist, procedures, and technology. People searching for a dentist today aren’t likely to just come in and trust like they did in the old days. This is particularly true for specialized dentists, like those who offer cosmetics, implants, or facial pain therapy. Patients will travel to find the best expertise and service. If you want that traffic, you better have a great site.
