Canon 20D settings for dentistry

June 22nd, 2005 · No Comments

Canon ring

These are my recommended settings for dental intraoral images:

Manual Mode

1/100 second

f32 (broadest depth of field)

ISO 200 (nice sensitivity)

Flash White balance (best color with flash)

Manual focus (I can focus faster than the AF with the ring flash blocking the AF assist light)

Program mode with autofocus for portraits, although I use a studio set up with umbrella’s in Manual mode.
