Dentrix, the practice management software by Henry Schein, has a strong and straight vision for the future. In 2007, Dentrix G2 came out, making the process "from x-ray to eClaim" easier than ever. The software was designed to increase case acceptance, improve return on investment, and boost productivity in the dental office. Now that 2008 is here, the company will soon release Dentrix G3, which makes paper obsolete. Over the next two years, G4 and G5 will hit the market.
In the American Association of Dental Office Managers’ magazine, The Obeserver (winter 2007/2008 issue), "Software Update" reviewed Dentrix today and tomorrow. Dentrix G3 has improved the Patient Questionnaire, Document Center, Perio Chart, Patient Chart, Appointment Book, and Month End Wizard. New features included web-based appointment confirmations.
