Most practices use a contact sheet to record New Patient information and to make notes regarding the initial phone conversation with the patient. The key here is building a relationship with the patient before they ever enter your office. Make the contact sheet a color, other then white, so it is obvious to everyone that the person taking the call is with a New Patient and should not be interrupted. These are the MOST important phone calls your practice can receive.
