i really like lasers for soft tissue treatment.
i am not 100% sure about the hardtissue aspect. apart from the hard tissue lasers being very pricey i would miss the resistance you can feel when using a handpiece and a diamond. i think this gives so much information (do you really have to see the other side of the tooth when you prep a crown? no you can feel the tooth and be very precise with the pressure you apply to control cutting depth.)
