Straumann Holding and Ivoclar Vivadent are partnering to create esthetic implants and restorations. Ivoclar will contribute the performance implant technology, IPS e.max, and Strauman will create the implants and restorations. Read the press release here. In another implant dentistry related press release out of Dublin, “Worldwide Nanotechnology Dental Implant Market Shares, Strategies, and Forecasts, 2009 – 2015,” the future of dental implants looks extremely promising.
The press release states, “Worldwide dental implants are poised to achieve significant growth as patients become aware of the health benefits achieved from having viable teeth. Dental implants are in the category of optional surgery and represent the type of consumer spending that is postponed in challenging economic environments.”
Nobel Biocare is the most successful implant company, with Straumann close behind. sounds promising. hope the prices will be fair.
implantology is such an interesting field but lots of patients struggle with the costs involved.
