You really want to boost your cosmetic dentistry, but how? This month’s Dental Products Report presents “Techsthetics” as a way to do just that. Basically, Techsthetics is a word coined by Dr. Barry Freydberg. It has to do with using digital imaging for cosmetic case presentations. For patients who are serious about veneers and other major esthetic procedures, seeing their new smile can push them from “maybe” to “where do I sign up?”
How can you tell if someone is serious about cosmetic dentistry? In his article, “Seeing is Believing,” September 2009 issue of DPR, Dr. Freydberg recommends charging a minimal fee, such as $150, to make sure the patient is serious.
