Created in Brazil by an industrial engineer, the Giro Sponge is an electric toothbrush that resembles a polisher, rather than a bristled brush. It hasn’t hit the market yet, but when it does, the Giro Sponge will be available in two varieties – one for children and one for adults. The creator, Fabio Dabori, indicated that the Giro Sponge can be used on babies, the elderly, and even pets. While the product is not dentist-approved – at least not yet – it is said to be good for people with dentures or gum disease.
