A collaborative effort between 3M ESPE and 3D Systems will result in the ability for labs to create precision wax models. When the Lava™ Scanner by 3M is used with ProJet™ DP 3000 Production System and InVision® DP 3D Modeler, layering a wax up is quick, convenient, and accurate. CAD images become the blueprint for “printing” layers of wax. And the system can produce about 100 wax ups in a cycle.
