Lasers Can Do More Harm than Good if Not Used Properly

Many dentists agree, lasers have transformed dental procedures like periodontal debridement, crown lengthening, cosmetic gingivectomies, tooth prep, and tissue grafting. The problem is, according to an article at Dr. Bicuspid, even when used at the suggested settings, dental lasers can harm dentin and pulp. Lasers are supposed to be minimally invasive, right?
