Pakistan “Dentistry” is 9000 Years Old

An archaeological dig in Pakistan recently uncovered nine skulls with teeth containing drilled holes. Flint drill bits were also found. Apparently, whether for dental or spiritual purposes, a bow with a flint bit was used to drill perfect holes in teeth, even in hard-to-reach molars. A reenactment proved that it took less than one minute to drill a hole 3.5 mm deep with the flint-tipped tool. Why did they do it? No one knows. How did they handle the pain? No one knows.
