Cosmetic Dentistry and the US Economy

February 1st, 2008 · No Comments

Any office completely focused on elective procedures is at risk to take a hit if we slip into a recession. I have always believed a good brand is a practice that can solve problems – whether esthetic, disease driven, or functional. Problems like bite issues and missing teeth affect chewing, function, and cause tooth wear. These areas of dentistry aren’t as effected by the economy because people look at fixing problems as a need, not an option. Dentists with practices known for only elective dentistry should seek training in implant restorations and fixing problems. If you’re prepared, you’ll survive any downturn in the economy.
