Reeling Them In for Their Own Good!

November 16th, 2007 · No Comments

I was thrilled to read Colene House’s article, "Whatever It Takes," in this month’s Dental Economics. Not only is Colene a great humor writer, but she seems to have the right combination of passion and creativity to make her patients care about their oral health. The article regaled me with a story about a little boy who had horrible oral hygiene until Colene picked up on clues to find his hot button. She turned the child around, and his teeth will be ever thankful! It’s not just kids that she’s helped with her unique skills – adults have benefited from her colorful, relative metaphors, as well.

Most dentists say that "personal attention for the patient" sets them apart from others. While everyone has their own approach to personalized care, can you and your hygienists, assistants, and office staff make care even more personal – even more successful? Colene has found a way to do just that, and I challenge you and your team to get creative and do the same.
