Paperless Tips

January 20th, 2007 · No Comments

Always enter treatment to be done in a treatment plan as soon as it it diagnosed. That makes scheduling much easier. It also allows for cost estimates. Some offices enter tx either at the time of scheduling or worse yet when it is completed.

Create treatments and codes that reflect appointments not just procedures. For example a crown is usually two appointments. The procedure code should be associated with the prep, along with the fee and the clinical notes. However the seat has no procedure code. If you create a code you can then treatment plan the visit, schedule it in a single click and add clinical procedure notes when it is done with a single click.
