Evaluate your stock holdings and sell stocks that you would not buy today or are down significantly from where you bought them.  These can be used to help off set gains from a tax perspective.  If you really like a stock that is down, sell it and repurchase it after waiting 30 days.

Look at you portfilio and consider consolodation.  Sell holdings where you have small positions.  Consolodate accounts and cut down on the number of statements you are getting.  Ask your financial institution if you can get electronic statements.
