As I alluded to several weeks ago(August 9th), Canon last week announced the release of their 2 new professional digital SLRs. The 5D which Tom reviewed recently and the camera I am excited about the Canon EOS-1D Mark II N. An 8.2 1.3x FOVCF (field of view crop factor-see my review of FOVCF in a previous post) that blast 8.5 frames per second buffered to delver a 48 frame burst in JPEG and 22 frame burst in RAW. The LCD is 2.5 inches. The camera is weather sealed and constructed in a strong aluminum shell. This camera is a great all around camera for sports, photojournalism, portraits and landscapes. It is excepted to sell for arpund 4,000 dollars. If you like to shoot sports this is the camera for you!
